Eco-Site Wins 2017 WRAL TechWire Award For Fastest Growing Startup

Eco-Site Celebrates WRAL TechWire’s Fastest Growing Startup Award

Durham, N.C., April 26, 2017—A full crowd packed Google Fiber’s new Triangle headquarters in Raleigh on Tuesday, April 25 for the fifth annual WRAL TechWire Awards. Eco-Site emerged from a group of three finalists to take home the award for Fastest Growing Startup.

The Durham-based wireless tower and densification solutions company landed a $50 million investment from Guggenheim Partners in March, following the final drawdown of its initial $80 million in equity financing from Atlanta-based MSouth Equity Partners.

The WRAL TechWire Awards honor the highest achieving tech startups, enterprises and business leaders in the Triangle. This year’s awards ceremony celebrated the Triangle’s progress as a technology hub and featured a keynote on entrepreneurship and the strengths of the region. More than 100 individuals and companies were nominated by WRAL TechWire readers for 12 awards, and finalists were selected by an awards committee.
